About The Plaza District
The Plaza District is an Oklahoma Main Street Community and an Oklahoma City Economic Redevelopment District, and the Plaza District Association is a non-profit working to revitalize the area, to promote and to support the businesses of the Plaza District.
The Plaza District hosts many events to provide the community such as festivals, second Friday artwalks, panel discussions, retail promotions and many more. Striving to serve the neighborhood, revitalize the area and support economic redevelopment, the Plaza District Association works with property owners, business owners, neighborhoods, residents, artists and the City of Oklahoma City.
The cultural diversity of the Plaza District has created a unique atmosphere attractive to artists, performers and creative types. This atmoshphere is shaping the Plaza District into an arts district serving Oklahoma City and the surrounding neighborhoods. With an exciting buzz of energy about the Plaza District, the time is now to get involved! By volunteering, shopping local and visiting Plaza events, you can be involved early in the shaping and supporting of this wonderful piece of Oklahoma City's past and future!
