About: Weekend of Local is a State-wide event presented by Independent Shopkeepers Association (ISA) of Oklahoma that encourages our community to go out, shop small, and eat local all weekend. About: Our biggest event if the year! Over 12 volunteer committees help plan these 2 incredible festivals for 9 months leading up to this day. Multiple entertainment stages. Artist vendor market. Kids Area. Dozens of community partners and more! Plan something special to celebrate and drive foot traffic to your business! And as always, show some extra love to Plaza Walls and their guest muralists from across the country as they do their thang to beautify our district with 40+ murals the week leading up to the event. Who We AreThe Plaza Business Alliance is a 501c6 nonprofit dedicated to cementing The Plaza District as a destination in Oklahoma City for all things local. In fact, our motto is "Experience Local Together."

The Plaza Business Alliance takes pride in promoting and supporting our 50+ local businesses and nonprofits that make our district unique and diverse.

In collaboration with The Plaza District Association 501c3, we employ (1) full-time staff member + (3) part-time staff members that work with 12 volunteer committees, 2 boards of directors, and hundreds of volunteers and community partners to drive over 1 Million visitors to 16th Street Plaza District annually.
We weren't named "Best Local District" in 2022 + 2023 (Oklahoma Gazette | Best of OKC + 405 Magazine’s Best of 405) by chance. Your membership dues go directly back to driving over 1 million visitors to our district annually!
